Meet our Volunteer Committee

Chair
KIM MELLOR
Pronouns : She / Her
Kim is an ace trans woman and parent of two teenagers. She has worked in corporate IT for 10 years and before that as a self-employed movement teacher in the local area. Her interest as chair is relationships– between individuals and between community groups– and listening to the community to find out what they (we) need. She aims to build on the extraordinary efforts of previous committee members and make sure the present committee and volunteers have the support they need to bring out their talents and make best use of their energy, joy and commitment.
She would like to recognise Zara Jones’ leadership, imagination and care for our community as the previous chair of the committee.
Zara, you have my endless respect and love for what you have achieved for the trans and gender diverse community in Bendigo and beyond.

Committee Member
JULES WALSH
Pronouns : They / Them
Hi, I’m Jules, and go by they / them. I’ve been on a couple of education related committees before but nothing like this one! I’m delighted to be on the committee and help promote the great work of TGDBB and support all of us wonderful TGD folks. It’s especially nice to come up from Castlemaine and spend time in Bendigo.
