Our Events

Our peer led social support group meet on the third Sunday of each month in Bendigo from 1pm-3pm. These social gatherings are for all ages and we welcome allies to join with us. Visit the Facebook event for more details.

TGD and allies clothing swap – The Castlemaine Pride Picnic: Castlemaine : 20th April, 2024 : 11am – 5pm

The fun, free and non-gendered clothing swap by Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo and Beyond will be set up at Castlemaine Pride Picnic as part of Castlemaine Pride Festival.

All ages trans, gender diverse, families and allies are invited to attend.
Bring along some items that no longer affirm your identity, or arrive with nothing but a great attitude. You are invited to browse through hundreds of free items of already donated clothing, shoes and accessories to find the items that help you feel affirmed in your identity.
Celebrate the full diversity and opportunities of self expression through fashion while enjoying an opportunity to socialise and explore identity in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

Castlemaine Pride was founded in 2018 as a way of saying thanks to the allies that supported us during the Marriage Equality Plebiscite in 2017 and to come together to celebrate the diverse and wonderful LGBTQIA+ community we have in the Mount Alexander Shire.

Located in the historic Castlemaine Botanical Gardens, this family friendly event includes market stalls, food vans, a dog show and live entertainment all day.

Bring your picnic rug, your family and even your dog to the 2024 Castlemaine Pride Picnic, our signature Pride event.

Trans, gender diverse and allies social catchup – Sunday 21st Apr 2024 : 1pm-3pm : Bendigo

Come along to our social catchup on the 21st Apr. Meet some wonderful people in a relaxed and safe environment.

All ages of trans, gender diverse and allies are invited.
