Our peer led social support group meet on the third Sunday of each month at the Bendigo Neighbourhood Hub from 1pm-3pm. These social gatherings are for all ages and we welcome allies to join with us.
The key priorities of our group are for participants to feel; safe, supported, welcome and included.
Sunday 30th April 2023 : 11am-3pm : Castlemaine
Castlemaine Pride was formed out of a grass roots movement to support marriage equality and has grown into a community driven annual Pride Festival.
We are very excited to be bringing the clothing swap back to Castlemaine for this wonderful festival weekend, which is home to many of our volunteers and community members.
The fun, free and non-gendered clothing swap by Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo and Beyond will be filling the Castlemaine Town Hall on Sunday 30th April from 11am-3pm.
All ages trans, gender diverse, families and allies are invited to attend.
Bring along some items that no longer affirm your identity, or arrive with nothing but a great attitude. You are invited to browse through hundreds of free items of already donated clothing, shoes and accessories to find the items that help you feel affirmed in your identity.
Celebrate the full diversity and opportunities of self expression through fashion while enjoying an opportunity to socialise and explore identity in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
